The Pillar Mate
The Pillar Mate takes care of the
corners while you concentrate on laying bricks. A versatile tool that can be
adapted to all sizes of brick work. Made from 25x25x5 internal sharp cornered
angle iron with 25x3 flat connection bar. A flat packed bolted together
construction which fits around the first course of brickwork. Due to bricks
being slightly different sizes connection bars are adjustable to accommodate.
Two sizes available 1950 & 950 high.
The Pillar Mate is to be used for 3
standard pillars:
1 ½ brick (325mm)
2 brick (440mm)
2 ½ brick (550mm)
1 Setup gage provided with each stand, holes fit over bolts
Stand folds out to accommodate rectangular brick pillars or square pillars.
Flat packed frames come in a large or small postal tube which can be used for
storage when not in use.

Picture A: Once the damp course has been built and set The
Pillar Mate easily sits on top of the brickwork. Using a spirit level & the
setup gauge to level up the side's of The Pillar Mate.

Removing The Pillar Mate is easy using a 17mm spanner to remove the nuts from
the central brace bolts.
