Information - All gates are constructed to a very high standard using planed softwood joinery Redwood timbers or kiln dried Iroko hardwood.
Gates are constructed Ex 70mm frame thickness using traditional mortice and tennon joints which are glued and fixed with hardwood dowels. All pairs of gates are supplied with a loose central closing plate but can be rebated on request.
All softwood gates are treated with Kingfisher water repellent tinted base coat, but require finishing with a solvent or oil based wood stain within 1 month of installation. Iroko hardwood gates can be left untreated, however if a long term fresh appearance is required a wood stain should be applied. In between sizes are available and are charged at the nearest size upwards shown in the price list. Alternative designs can be made upon request.
Recommended post sizes: -200mm square posts for 3.3m to 4.2m wide o/a gates, 175mm square posts for 3.0m wide o/a gates, 150mm square posts for 1.2m wide single gates and 125mm square posts for 1.050m and 900mm single gates. All posts to be 900mm below ground level.

Premier Range 5 Bar Gates
Information – All 5 bar gates are constructed to a very high standard using planed softwood joinery Redwood timbers or kiln dried Iroko hardwood. The softwood gates are ACQ treated under pressure in a light green shade, while all Iroko hardwood gates are supplied untreated. All Premier Range 5 bar gates are constructed with a solid base rail that provides added strength and is suitable for gate automation. Solid base rails are available in two options, either flush with the bottom stiles of gate or slightly raised, so please state which option when ordering.
